A Norwegian-American born in Chicago, Larry moved to Norway at the age of eleven. He studied Music at The University of Oslo, taking a Masters Degree in Music. Today he is Chairperson of FONO: The Association of Norwegian Record Companies, board member of IMPALA, board member and former Chairperson of Spellemannprisen (the Norwegian Grammy Awards), and board member of Music Norway.
Larry has also been a member of the board at GRAMO, Vice President of Music Export Norway, Chairperson of Forum for Norsk Musikk (The organisation for Norwegian music), board member in Fond for Lyd og Bilde (the audio and visual fund), board member in Fund for Performing Artists (FFUK) and board member of MIC; Music Information Centre, among others.
Larry runs his own record company MTG Music; not a singled-minded record/publishing company, but one which reaches into the abyss of the music industry by producing music across many venues of entertainment:- Hip-Hop, Rock, Pop, Classic and Soundtracks.
