Diddi Velle
Diddi Velle’s musical journey began in a home resonating with classic country, blues, and rock, even hosting touring professional artists from abroad who influenced her deeply. Despite discovering her passion for music early on, she kept it concealed and pursued a more traditional career in healthcare, lacking the confirmation to fully embrace her dreams. However, a profound transformation occurred when she worked directly with dementia patients, where her heartfelt singing revived their spirits, igniting a realization of music’s true power within her. At the youthful age of 23, Diddi courageously stepped into the limelight, sharing her cover songs on social media, which swiftly sparked worldwide conversations about the emerging Norwegian country music phenomenon. Witnessing her fanbase of followers rapidly soar beyond 30,000 and some of her videos going viral reaching millions! This led to her signing a management deal, and shortly after started recording her first songs in the vibrant heart of Nashville, with esteemed guidance from a producer celebrated for over 70 million record sales. Among these masterpieces lies her captivating debut single, “Seven Spanish Angels,” and her very first original song - set to be released early 2024. Supported by an elite band whose accolades span from Willie Nelson to Dolly Parton – as well as former guitarist and backing singer for Tanya Tucker (Country Music Hall of Fame 2023). Almost everywhere she’s performed it’s been sold out/full house – and is now hoping to get the opportunity to bring down the house at Sørveiv – as she continues to excel!
