EDEL

EDEL is a duo consisting of Vera Ottesen and Malin Stokka. Together, they compose, arrange, and write songs in English. Their music is characterized by synergy, dynamics, and vocal harmonies, falling within the genre of modern alternative pop. The sound alternates between silky harmonies and powerful guitar riffs. The duo came to life in 2021 when Ottesen and Stokka both pursued the artist program in high school in Stavanger. Today, the girls are based in Oslo, where they are both studying at Westerdals. For 3 years, they have taken on acoustic gigs, with Malin accompanying on the guitar. After their debut concert with the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra in March 2023, the duo has been performing with a band. As a duo, EDEL is free-spirited, challenging, and ambitious.
